MM Designs takes your design company to the next level. Whether you are a sole proprietor designer or a full-service design firm growing beyond your scope and require an extra set of hands on a project or you require ongoing intermittent help with design deliverables, we are here to help. Additionally, through our online courses (Coming Soon!) and short instructional videos, we want to be a primary resource centre for designers and those studying or interested in design to learn SketchUp and CAD (computer aided drafting) programs.

When she started MM Designs in 2012 Melissa McMorris’s goal was to bring her creativity with interior design and her expertise in visual design rendering to support independent designers who didn’t have the time or resources to produce 3-dimentional renderings. She knew that there was a space in the market for beautiful technical drawings that combine the technical aspects of a project with the beauty of interior design.
As Melissa grew professionally alongside MM Designs, she taught Computer Aided Drafting and Design for Conestoga College’s Interior Decorating program. She not only loved to teach but had a natural affinity for building learning modules. Though her commitments to her clients led to a difficult decision to step away from the classroom, she wanted to continue teaching in some capacity. This led to the expansion of MM Designs to offer courses (Coming Soon!) and short learning videos in SketchUp and CAD programs.
Based in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, Melissa works virtually and in person with designers from across North America. She is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Architectural Technology program and Conestoga College’s Interior Decorating program.

MM Designs was built on providing 3-dimensional renderings, architectural drawing and design boards for designers. Our team is made up of individuals with strong design backgrounds, both technically and aesthetically. We understand that you, the designer, are our customer and we pride ourselves on producing design deliverables that align with your brand and design standards so these outsourced elements fit seamlessly into the design proposals you deliver to your customers.
MM Designs has created a library of custom SketchUp components that add depth and texture to design drawings. We have tried to focus on components that are missing from Sketch Up's 3D warehouse like current trending accessories.
